A handpainted tequila bottle from Sayulita, Blue Agave plants for as far as the eye can see on a drive from Guadalajara to Tequila, a friend's tattoo, beach buses through cactus laden deserts, embroidered cushions in cute hotels with archways and hand painted tiles. The cacophony of visual stimuli, the colours of painted walls, layers upon layers, peeling to reveal another version, handpainted signs and art seemingly everywhere.
Embroidered flowers on cushions & dresses & bed spreads and throws were a delight everywhere. Hot pink & close to red on a marshmallowy pink base, a burst of floral beauty.
These elements were hand painted and then printed on 100% cotton.
