PDF Sewing Pattern | Drama Queen Top & Dress

A triple frill on the sleeve make this cute summer dress a little more dramatic than your average short sleeve dress pattern. A short sleeved dress with boho, relaxed vibes the frill that extends over the shoulder allows for the freedom of a short sleeve but with a fun silhouette.

A full gathered skirt onto a slightly tapered in bodice with princess seams give shape into the waist but without the need for a zip. A top-stitched placket and collar for extra design features. Pockets of course... Designed to throw on over swimmers, wear out on a balmy summer’s evening or add another tier to the bottom for a show stopper.
The top as an alternative is an easy going top to pair with shorts or jeans or make a matching pair of drawstring pants for a super cute summer set.

Perfect in lightweight Indian block print fabric or go slightly crisper in a poplin or linen for an even more dramatic sleeve. A fun addition to your me-made wardrobe.

Sizing is XS - XXL. Suggest checking top & skirt length you may need to add or take off at these points.

Below is a guide for measurement & guide for fabric consumption information. Fabric guide is based on 110cm wide fabric with directional print. If you use wider fabric or do not have directional print you will need less.

Available as downloadable pdf files in A0, you can get this printed at Officeworks or equivalent.  Also available as A4/Letter which you can print at home and piece together. 28 pages in total for all patterns, however there are measurement guides for dress skirt to save you printing out if you prefer to measure.

Sewing ability is an intermediate sewist, although with support of a Youtube video provided for placket, an adventurous beginner could definitely achieve this.
